A Bit About Me?
Prophetess Salena Manies is a dedicated servant of God with a profound commitment to prophetic evangelism. At 28 years old, she hails from Savannah, Georgia, and was raised in Hinesville from the age of two. As the granddaughter of the late Apostle Shirley A. Brandon—who made history as the first Black female pastor in Hinesville and the first female presiding officer of The House of God Saints in Christ—Prophetess Manies carries a legacy of ministry.
Having accepted her call at 18, she stepped into ordained ministry and has since preached the Gospel across various locations. A licensed preacher in the Kingdom of God, she possesses a deep understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and passionately teaches His message, transcending cultural and denominational barriers.
As the CEO and Founder of the “How Can They Hear Movement,” Prophetess Manies received the vision for this initiative in March 2018. She believes God has called her as a young millennial preacher to raise up evangelists, clarify the true meaning of prophetic evangelism, and restore the evangelical anointing within the church.
Prophetess Manies is driven by a heartfelt passion for souls, believing that true evangelism stems from genuine care. Her commitment to prophetic evangelism extends both inside and outside church walls, as she aims to prepare herself and others to operate fully in their divine gifts.
Raised in an Apostolic culture, Prophetess Manies has utilized her gifts for God’s glory from a young age. She embraces her assignment to preach the Gospel to all people, showcasing her prolific oratorical skills in both preaching and teaching.
In addition to her preaching, Prophetess Manies exemplifies her faith through a life of self-denial and seeks to master the ministry of deliverance, aiming to free lost souls from bondage. She is dedicated to understanding the revelation of grace to offer hope to those who are lost. Ultimately, her goal is to serve all, using her submitted life to win unsaved souls for Christ.
